Seven Must-Eats in West Orlando!

Seven Must-Eats in West Orlando!

Orlando’s diversity is one of the city’s many perks, and with this diversity comes an array of amazing cuisine! Whether you enjoy the fresh-richness of Mediterranean food, the fluffy texture of an authentic French dish, or signature handcrafted American burgers, there is something for everyone here in the City Beautiful!

Here are 7 of My Personal Favorites from West Orlando!

1. À Brasileria Bar & Grill

Food: Brazilian

Address: 2417 S Hiawassee Rd, Orlando, FL 32835

À Brasileria – the Brazil in Orlando. Apart from its flavorful dishes and great service, enjoy a caipirinha (brazil’s national cocktail) after a long day of work with live music on Thursday nights.

My recommendations: Bacalhau (codfish cake), Picanha À Brasileira (8 oz of Brazilian style top sirloin USDA choice topped with crispy garlic, white rice, black beans, and french fries), caipirinha.

Hawkers blend Asian street fare with recipes that have been passed down from generations. If you’re craving the unapologetic flavors of true Asian food – dumplings with bounce, spicy curries, crisp pork belly, and more – then this is the spot for you.

My Recommendations: Beef Haw Fun (wide rice noodles, sliced steak, spring onions, bean sprouts, onions, soy sauce), Steamed Baos (steam bao buns filled with either – duck, pork belly or Seoul hot chicken), Kin’s Prawn Mee (spicy prawn broth, shrimp, chicken, wheat noodles, hard-boiled egg, yow Choy, bean sprouts, fried shallots).

TIP: I stop by during happy hour for tapas-style small plates at a fraction of the price.
